Traditional IRA-Savings (Share)
An individual Retirement Account, or IRA, is a tax-sheltered savings program.
- It is an individual account and cannot have a joint owner.
- It is a tax-favored investment that is ideal for buildings savings that will supplement a participant's Social Security and company pension benefits.
- Earnings are always tax-deferred until withdrawn.
- Interest earned on an IRA is not included on the 1099-INT statement the member will receive for other interest-bearing accounts.
- Regular contributions may be tax-deductible, which means it reduces the contributor's taxable income in the year for which they made the contribution.

Roth IRA-Savings (Share)
An individual Retirement Account, or IRA, is a tax-sheltered savings program.
- It is an individual account and cannot have a joint owner.
- It is a tax-favored investment that is ideal for building savings that will supplement a participant's Social Security and company pension benefits.
- Earnings are always tax-deferred until withdrawn.
- Interest earned on an IRA is not included on the member's 1099-INT statement.
- Earnings may be withdrawn tax-free if the owner has a qualified distribution: the IRA owner is 59 1/2 or older, is disabled, is deceased, or the distribution qualifies as a first-time home purchase, AND the IRA owner has had a Roth IRA for 5 years.

Traditional and Roth IRA CDs (Term Share Certificate)
You can direct all or part of your IRA into an IRA Term Share Certificate. This enables you to earn the highest return possible. Terms are available from six months to five years.
